2014 Fire It Up for Youth

The “Fire It Up For Youth” Spaghetti Dinner and Pancake Breakfast was held January 24-26, 2014 at the Rochester Fire Department during the Rochester Fire & Ice Fest. After enjoying the many winter activities offered at the Rochester Fire & Ice Fest, families stopped by the Rochester Fire Department and enjoyed a spaghetti dinner on Friday and Saturday or a pancake breakfast on Sunday…all prepared by the Rochester Firefighters. Many guests who attended the breakfast participated in a Brooksie Way 5K race that same morning.

A very special thank you to the Rochester Fire Department, Kohls, Costco and Meijer (Marketplace Blvd.) for their support and donations. All funds raised during this 3-day event will benefit the programs and services offered by RAYA. We hope to see everyone again January 23-25, 2015!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2014 Tri-Rails to Trails Bike Ride scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2014 has been CANCELED. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The first Annual Tri-Rails to Trails Bike Ride Fundraiser was held on Saturday, August 10, 2013. The event began at Second and Elizabeth Streets in downtown Rochester. Riders had the option of riding three trails – Paint Creek, Macomb Orchard or Clinton River Trails. All riders who participated were eligible for a drawing (all items were donated by our many special contributors). It was a beautiful day, and everyone is looking forward to the 2014 Tri-Rails to Trails coming in August 2014.

Good news!  RAYA can now accept donations online using the secure services of PayPal.  The news even gets better.  You don’t need a PayPal account to make your donation.  PayPal accepts major credit cards, too!

Your donations are very important to the continued success of RAYA.   Without your help many of our programs would be unfunded and at risk youth in our area would suffer as a result.  When deciding how to spend your charitable dollars please consider making a donation to RAYA.

Thank you!
